The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By the morning brightness 1 By the night when it darkeneth, 2 your Lord has not forsaken you, nor is He displeased with you, 3 What is to come is better for you than what has gone before; 4 Verily your Lord will soon give you so amply that you will be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you as an orphan and give you shelter? 6 Did He not find you a wanderer so He guided you? 7 Did He not find you poor and suffice you? 8 As for the orphan, do not oppress him, 9 and do not chide the one who asks for help; 10 Therefor of the bounty of thy Lord be thy discourse. 11
