We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers?" 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 [and so,] when [We decreed the doom of his sinful town,] We saved him and his household, 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 And at night-time; have ye then no sense? 138
