And recite to them the news of Ibrahim. 69 when he said to his father and his people, 'What do you serve?' 70 They said: We worship idols, so we shall be their votaries. 71 'Do they hear you when you call on them' He asked. 72 "Or do they benefit you or do they harm (you)?" 73 They exclaimed: But we found our forefathers doing the same!" 74 He said: 'Have you considered what you worship, 75 you and your fathers, the elders? 76 “They are all my enemies, except the Lord Of The Creation.” 77 “The One Who created me, so He will guide me.” 78 "And it is He Who feeds me and gives me to drink. 79 and heals me when I am sick. 80 Who will cause me to die and then will again restore me to life; 81 It is He whom I expect to forgive my sins on the Day of Judgment. 82 My Lord! bestow on me wisdom and join me with the righteous. 83 Make my words come true in the future. 84 and place me amongst the inheritors of the Garden of Bliss. 85 And forgive my father, for surely he is of those who have gone astray; 86 Do not degrade me on the Day when they are resurrected. 87 The Day whereon will profit neither substance nor sons. 88 Except him who brings to Allah a clean heart [clean from Shirk (polytheism) and Nifaq (hypocrisy)]. 89 Paradise will be brought near those who take heed for themselves and follow the straight path; 90 And the hell shall be made manifest to the erring ones, 91 It will be said to them: 'Where is that you worshipped, 92 Other than God? Can they save you or even save themselves?" 93 "Then they will be thrown headlong into the (Fire),- they and those straying in Evil, 94 and so too the hosts of Iblis, all of them. 95 "They will say there in their mutual bickerings: 96 By Allah, we were truly in a manifest error, 97 When we made you equal to the Lord of the worlds; 98 It was nothing but the evildoers who led us astray. 99 And now we have none to intercede for us, 100 and no sincere friend. 101 If only we could return we would be among the believers." 102 There is certainly a sign in that, but most of them would not believe: 103 But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace! 104

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
