Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the forenoon (after sun-rise); 1 By the night when it darkeneth, 2 (O Prophet), your Lord has neither forsaken you, nor is He displeased. 3 and the Last shall be better for thee than the First. 4 soon you will be gratified with what your Lord will give you. 5 Has He not found thee an orphan, and given thee shelter? 6 Did He not find you wandering about and give you guidance? 7 Did He not find you in want, and make you free from want? 8 As for the orphan, do not oppress him, 9 And as for the petitioner, do not repel [him]. 10 And keep recounting the favours of your Lord. 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
