Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

By oath of the late morning, 1 And by the night when it is stillest, 2 your Lord has not forsaken you, nor is He displeased with you, 3 And surely what comes after is better for you than that which has gone before. 4 Verily your Lord will soon give you so amply that you will be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge? 6 And He found thee wandering, so He guided thee, 7 And found you in need, so made you prosperous? 8 So as for the orphan, do not oppress [him]. 9 and him that seeks [thy] help shalt thou never chide, 10 but proclaim the blessings of your Lord. 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
