The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful 1

All praise is due to God, the Lord of the Universe; 2 the Beneficent, the Merciful; 3 Master of the Day of Judgment. 4 You (alone) we worship; and You (alone) we rely for help. 5 Guide us (O Lord) to the path that is straight, 6 The Way of those on whom You have bestowed Your Grace, not (the way) of those who earned Your Anger, nor of those who went astray. 7

God the Almighty always says the truth.
