The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate 1

Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds, 2 The Beneficent, the Merciful. 3 Lord of the Day of Judgement. 4 Thee alone do we worship and of Thee alone do we seek help, 5 Guide us to the Straight Path, 6 The way of those on whom Thou hast bestowed Thy Grace, those whose (portion) is not wrath, and who go not astray. 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
