INDEED, We sent forth Noah unto his people, and he said: "O my people! Worship God alone: you have no deity other than Him. Verily, I fear lest suffering befall you on an awesome Day!" 59 but the leading men of his people said, "Truly, we see that you are obviously lost in error!" 60 (Noah) said, "My people, I am not in any error, rather I am a Messenger from the Lord of the Universe, 61 I bring to you the messages of my Lord, and give you sincere advice, for I know from God what you do not know. 62 "Do you wonder that there has come to you a Reminder from your Lord through a man from amongst you, that he may warn you, so that you may fear Allah and that you may receive (His) Mercy?" 63 Then they belied him; thereupon We delivered him and those with him in the ark, and drowned those who belied Our signs; verily they were a people blind. 64
