Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ When the heaven becomes cleft asunder, 1 when the planets are scattered, 2 And when the seas are made to flow forth, 3 When the graves are overturned, 4 (Then) shall each soul know what it hath sent forward and (what it hath) kept back. 5 O human! What has deceived you concerning your Generous Lord 6 who created thee and shaped thee and wrought thee in symmetry 7 In whatsoever form He listed He constructed thee. 8 Nay! but you give the lie to the judgment day, 9 And indeed, [appointed] over you are keepers, 10 The honourable recorders. 11 aware of whatever you do! 12 Surely the pious shall be in bliss, 13 And indeed, the wicked will be in Hellfire. 14 Which they will enter on the Day of Judgment, 15 And will not be absent thence. 16 And what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is? 17 Again: what will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 18 It is a Day whereon no soul shall own aught of power for any soul; and the command on that Day will be Allah's. 19
