The chiefs of Firon's people said: most surely this is an enchanter possessed of knowledge: 109 who seeks to drive you from your land what do you command' 110 They said: put him and his brother off, and send unto the cities callers. 111 "That they bring up to you all well-versed sorcerers." 112 And the magicians came to Firaun, and said, “Will we get some reward if we are victorious?” 113 'Yes' he answered, 'and you will be among those near' 114 They said, "Moses, will you first throw, or shall we?" 115 He said, "You throw [first]!" When they made their cast, they bewitched the eyes of the people and struck them with awe, for they showed a great [feat of] magic. 116 And We inspired Moosa that, “Put forth your staff”; it immediately began swallowing up their fabrications. 117 ۞ Thus the Truth prevailed and their false art was banished. 118 Thus were they there defeated and brought low. 119 And the magicians were obliged to fall prostrate. 120 They said: we believe in the Lord of the worlds. 121 The Lord of Moses and Aaron." 122 Said Firaun, “You have accepted faith in Him before I gave you permission! This is indeed a grand conspiracy you have plotted in the city, in order to expel its people from it; so now you will come to know!” 123 I will surely cut off your hands and your feet on opposite sides; then I will surely crucify you all." 124 They answered: "Verily, unto our Sustainer do we turn 125 You would take revenge on us only because we believed in the signs of our Lord when they came to us. Lord, pour patience upon us and let us die as submitters (Muslims)' 126

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
