Al-A 'araaf 23 of 24
And those who cry lies to Our signs We will draw them on little by little whence they know not; 182 I give them rein (for) lo! My scheme is strong. 183 Reflect they not that in their companion there is no madness! he is naught but a manifest warner. 184 Do they see nothing in the government of the heavens and the earth and all that Allah hath created? (Do they not see) that it may well be that their terms is nigh drawing to an end? In what message after this will they then believe? 185 No one can guide those whom God lets go astray: He leaves them blundering about in their arrogance. 186 They ask you about the Hour: "When is its determined time?" Say: "Only my Lord has the knowledge. No one can reveal it except He. Oppressive will it be for the heavens and the earth. When it comes, it will come unawares." They ask you about it as if you were in the know. You tell them: "Only God has the knowledge." But most people do not know. 187 Tell them [O Muhammad]: 'I have no power to benefit or harm myself except as Allah may please. And had I knowledge of the unseen, I should have amassed all kinds of good, and no evil would have ever touched me. I am merely a warner and the herald of glad tidings to those who have faith.' 188
