Al-Anfaal 2 of 10
He brought drowsiness upon you to give you His reassurance and sent down water from the sky upon you, so that He might thereby purify you and remove Satan's pollution from you, and make your hearts strong and your feet firm. 11 And recall what time thy Lord inspired the angels: verily I am with you, so keep firm those who have believed; I will cast horror into the hearts of those who have disbelieved, so smite them above the neck and smite of them every fingertip. 12 This, because they have resisted Allah and His apostle; and whosoever resisteth Allah and His apostle, then verily Allah is severe in retribution. 13 "That [is yours], so taste it." And indeed for the disbelievers is the punishment of the Fire. 14 O believers, when you meet unbelievers on the field of battle, do not turn your backs to them. 15 If any do turn his back to them on such a day - unless it be in a stratagem of war, or to retreat to a troop (of his own)- he draws on himself the wrath of Allah, and his abode is Hell,- an evil refuge (indeed)! 16 Ye (Muslims) slew them not, but Allah slew them. And thou (Muhammad) threwest not when thou didst throw, but Allah threw, that He might test the believers by a fair test from Him. Lo! Allah is Hearer, Knower. 17 that is what happened, and God will surely undermine the design of those who deny the truth. 18 If you demanded a judgment, the judgment has then indeed come to you; and if you desist, it will be better for you; and if you turn back (to fight), We (too) shall turn back, and your forces shall avail you nothing, though they may be many, and (know) that Allah is with the believers. 19

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
