When the hypocrites and those in whose hearts was disease said: Their religion has deceived them; and whoever trusts in Allah, then surely Allah is Mighty, Wise. 49 If thou couldst only see when the angels take the unbelievers, beating their faces and their backs: 'Taste the chastisement of the burning -- 50 This is for that which your own hands have sent before (to the Judgment), and (know) that Allah is not a tyrant to His slaves. 51 The same thing happened to the people of Pharaoh and those who lived before them. They rejected the revelations of God and, because of their sins, His retribution struck them. God is All-powerful and stern in His retribution. 52 "Because Allah will never change the grace which He hath bestowed on a people until they change what is in their (own) souls: and verily Allah is He Who heareth and knoweth (all things)." 53 Like the ways of Firaun’s people and those before them; they denied the signs of Allah – We therefore destroyed them on account of their sins and We drowned the people of Firaun; and they all were unjust. 54 Lo! the worst of beasts in Allah's sight are the ungrateful who will not believe. 55 AS FOR THOSE with whom thou hast made a covenant, and who thereupon break their covenant on every occasion, not being conscious of God 56 if you meet them in battle, cause their example to scatter those behind them so that they remember. 57 If you (O Muhammad SAW) fear treachery from any people throw back (their covenant) to them (so as to be) on equal terms (that there will be no more covenant between you and them). Certainly Allah likes not the treacherous. 58
