▼ 8 The Spoils of War
Al-Anfaal 8 of 10
Let not the deniers of the truth be deluded that they will gain any advantage. Surely, they, can never overcome Us! 59 And prepare against them whatever you are able of power and of steeds of war by which you may terrify the enemy of Allah and your enemy and others besides them whom you do not know [but] whom Allah knows. And whatever you spend in the cause of Allah will be fully repaid to you, and you will not be wronged. 60 ۞ And if they incline to peace, then incline to it and trust in Allah; surely He is the Hearing, the Knowing. 61 Should they intend to deceive thee,- verily Allah sufficeth thee: He it is That hath strengthened thee with His aid and with (the company of) the Believers; 62 and joined their hearts. Had you given away all the riches of the earth you could not have joined their hearts, but it is Allah Who joined their hearts. Indeed He is All-Mighty. All-Wise. 63 O Prophet! Allah is sufficient for you and the believers who follow you. 64
