We settled the Children of Israel in a beautiful dwelling-place, and provided for them sustenance of the best: it was after knowledge had been granted to them, that they fell into schisms. Verily Allah will judge between them as to the schisms amongst them, on the Day of Judgment. 93 And if thou (Muhammad) art in doubt concerning that which We reveal unto thee, then question those who read the Scripture (that was) before thee. Verily the Truth from thy Lord hath come unto thee. So be not thou of the waverers. 94 Nor be of those who reject the signs of Allah, or thou shalt be of those who perish. 95 Surely those against whom the word of your Lord has proved true will not believe, 96 until they face the most painful torment. 97 And wherefore was there not a town which should believe so that their belief should have profited them but the people of Yunus? When they believed, We removed from them the chastisement of disgrace in this world's life and We gave them provision till a time. 98 Had your Lord so willed, all those who are on the earth would have believed. Will you, then, force people into believing? 99 No one can have faith without the permission of God. God will cast down filth on those who have no understanding. 100 Say: Behold what is in the heavens and the earth! But revelations and warnings avail not folk who will not believe. 101 Can such, then, expect anything else [to befall them] but the like of the days of [calamity which befell] those [deniers of the truth] who passed away before them? Say: "Wait, then, [for what will happen] verily, I shall wait with you!" 102 Then We deliver Our apostles and those who believe-- even so (now), it is binding on Us (that) We deliver the believers. 103
