Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

It is We Who have set out the zodiacal signs in the heavens, and made them fair-seeming to (all) beholders; 16 We have protected them from every condemned devil, 17 Except the ones who listen on the sly, yet they are chased away by a shooting flame. 18 We have spread out the earth and set upon it firm mountains. Everything We have caused to grow therein is justly weighed; 19 We have provided on it sustenance for you, and for those you cannot provide. 20 And there is not of aught but with Us are the treasures thereof, and We send it not down save in a measure known 21 We send the winds fertilizing, and We send down out of heaven water, from which you drink and you are not its treasurers. 22 And certainly We! We it is Who give life, and cause death, and We are the Inheritors. 23 We know those who lived before you and those who will come after you. 24 and, behold, it is thy Sustainer who will gather them all together [on Judgment Day]: verily, He is Wise, All-Knowing! 25
