Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

It is We Who have set out the zodiacal signs in the heavens, and made them fair-seeming to (all) beholders; 16 And We have guarded it from every Satan damned. 17 Except him (devil) that gains hearing by stealing, he is pursued by a clear flaming fire. 18 And the earth - We have spread it and cast therein firmly set mountains and caused to grow therein [something] of every well-balanced thing. 19 We have provided on it sustenance for you, and for those you cannot provide. 20 Naught is there, but its treasuries are with Us, and We send it not down but in a known measure. 21 And We send the winds fertilizing, then send down water from the cloud so We give it to you to drink of, nor is it you who store it up. 22 And indeed it is We Who give life and it is We Who cause death, and We are the Inheritors. 23 And assuredly We know those of you who have gone before and those who will come hereafter. 24 and, behold, it is thy Sustainer who will gather them all together [on Judgment Day]: verily, He is Wise, All-Knowing! 25
