Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

And We have placed within the heaven great stars and have beautified it for the observers. 16 And We have protected it from every devil expelled [from the mercy of Allah] 17 Except him (devil) that gains hearing by stealing, he is pursued by a clear flaming fire. 18 And the earth! We have stretched it out and have cast thereon mountains firm, and We have caused to spring up thereon everything weighed. 19 And We have appointed thereon for you livelihoods and also for those of whom ye are not the providers. 20 With Us is the source of everything and We do not send it down except in a known quantity. 21 And We send the winds fertilizing, then send down water from the cloud so We give it to you to drink of, nor is it you who store it up. 22 Lo! and it is We, even We, Who quicken and give death, and We are the Inheritor. 23 And assuredly We know those of you who have gone before and those who will come hereafter. 24 And surely your Lord will gather them together; surely He is Wise, Knowing. 25
