Al-Hijjr 2 of 6
It is We Who have set out the zodiacal signs in the heavens, and made them fair-seeming to (all) beholders; 16 And We have kept it guarded from every outcast devil. 17 Except one who comes to eavesdrop – therefore a bright flame goes after him. 18 We have spread out the earth and set upon it firm mountains. Everything We have caused to grow therein is justly weighed; 19 And created livelihoods for you in it, and created those for whom you do not provide the sustenance. 20 And there is not a thing, but with Us are the stores thereof. And We send it not down except in a known measure. 21 And We send the winds fertilizing, then send down water from the cloud so We give it to you to drink of, nor is it you who store it up. 22 It is We who give life and cause things to die and We are the sole Heirs. 23 We know those who lived before you and those who will come after you. 24 And verily thy Lord! He will gather them, and verily He is Wise, Knowing. 25
