And indeed, We created man from sounding clay of altered black smooth mud. 26 while We had brought the jinn into being before out of blazing fire. 27 When your Lord said to the angels, "I will create the human being out of pure mud-moulded clay. 28 "So, when I have fashioned him completely and breathed into him (Adam) the soul which I created for him, then fall (you) down prostrating yourselves unto him." 29 All the angels prostrated themselves, 30 But Iblis (did it not); he refused to be with those who made obeisance. 31 Allah said: O Iblis! what aileth thou that thou art not with the prostrates? 32 Said he, 'I would never bow myself before a mortal whom Thou hast created of a clay of mud moulded.' 33 Said Allah, “Therefore exit from Paradise, for you are an outcast.” 34 And verily on thee shall be the curse till the Day of Requital. 35 Satan said, "O my Lord! Grant me respite till the Day of Resurrection." 36 The Lord said, "Your request is granted 37 Till the Day of appointed time. 38 Iblis said: "My Lord! In the manner You led me to error, I will make things on earth seem attractive to them and lead all of them to error, 39 But not such of them as are Thy bondmen single-hearted. 40 He (Allah) said: 'This is for Me the Right Path 41 No power shall you have over (all) My creatures except those who fall into error and follow you, 42 And verily Hell is the place promised unto them all. 43 It has seven gates, and through each gate a portion of them belong. 44
