"Truly! The Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2) will be amidst Gardens and water-springs (Paradise). 45 and they will be told to enter there in peace and safety. 46 And We shall purge their breasts of all traces of rancour; and they shall be seated on couches facing one another as brothers. 47 There shall touch them no toil therein, nor therefrom they shall ever be driven out. 48 ۞ (O Prophet), declare to My servants that I am indeed Ever Forgiving, Most Merciful. 49 At the same time, My chastisement is highly painful. 50 And inform them of the guests of Ibrahim: 51 who came to him saying, "Peace be with you." Abraham said, "We are afraid of you". 52 They said, 'Be not afraid; behold, we give thee good tidings of a cunning boy.' 53 He said, "Do you bring me such news despite my old age? What kind of good news are you bringing me?" 54 They answered: "We have given thee the glad tiding of something that is bound to come true. So be not of those who abandon hope!" 55 He said, "And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord except for those astray?" 56 He asked: 'Messengers, what is your errand' 57 They answered: "We are sent to people lost in sin [who are to be destroyed,] 58 Except the family of Lot; indeed, we will save them all 59 excepting only his wife, [of whom God says,] 'We have ordained [that,] behold, she should be among those who stay behind!' 60
