"Truly! The Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2) will be amidst Gardens and water-springs (Paradise). 45 'In peace and security, enter them' 46 And We will root out whatever of rancor is in their breasts-- (they shall be) as brethren, on raised couches, face to face. 47 No weariness will come upon them, nor will they be sent away from there. 48 ۞ Tell My servants I am the All-forgiving, the All-compassionate, 49 At the same time, My chastisement is highly painful. 50 And tell them of Abraham's guests, 51 When they entered his presence and said, "Peace!" He said, "We feel afraid of you!" 52 They said: "Do not feel afraid, for we give you the good news of a wise boy." 53 He said: bear ye me glad tidings when old age hath touched me? of what then ye bear me glad tidings? 54 They said: we bear tidings of a truth; be then thou not of the desponding. 55 [Abraham] exclaimed: "And who - other than those who have utterly lost their way - could ever abandon the hope of his Sustainer's grace?" 56 [Abraham] said, "Then what is your business [here], O messengers?" 57 They said: Surely we are sent towards a guilty people, 58 "Except the family of Lot whom we shall save 59 "Except his wife, who, We have ascertained, will be among those who will lag behind." 60
