At length when the messengers arrived among the adherents of Lut, 61 He said: "Ye appear to be uncommon folk." 62 They said: "Nay, we have come to you with that (torment) which they have been doubting. 63 "And we have brought to you the truth (the news of the destruction of your nation) and certainly, we tell the truth. 64 so leave with your family some time in the latter part of the night, and walk behind them. Let none of you look back. Go where you are commanded." 65 And We conveyed to him [the decree] of that matter: that those [sinners] would be eliminated by early morning. 66 And the people of the city came rejoicing. (* To the house of Prophet Lut.) 67 Lut said: "These are my guests: disgrace me not: 68 "And fear Allah and disgrace me not." 69 They answered: "Have we not forbidden thee [to offer protection] to any kind of people?" 70 Lot said, "These are my daughters if you want them." 71 Verily, by your life (O Muhammad SAW), in their wild intoxication, they were wandering blindly. 72 And thereupon the blast [of Our punishment] overtook them at the time of sunrise, 73 And We turned (the cities) upside down, and rained down on them brimstones hard as baked clay. 74 Surely in this are signs for those who examine. 75 surely it is on a way yet remaining; 76 Surely, in that there is a sign for those who believe. 77 The dwellers of the Thicket were harmdoers. 78 So We took vengeance on them. Both are still there on the highway, plain for all to see. 79

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
توجد تمارين تحفيظ للوضعين العربي الأصلي والعربي المخطوط بأحرف إنجليزية فقط. ولا تحتوي الترجمة الإنجليزية على تمارين حفظ.
