And certainly did the companions of Thamud deny the messengers. 80 We brought them Our signs, and they turned away from them. 81 They used to hew dwellings in the mountains to live in security. 82 So the scream overcame them at morning. 83 And that which they were wont to count as gain availed them not. 84 AND [remember:] We have not created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them without [an inner] truth; but, behold, the Hour [when this will become clear to all] is indeed yet to come. Hence, forgive [men's failings] with fair forbearance: 85 Indeed, your Lord - He is the Knowing Creator. 86 We have given you the seven oft-recited verses and the great Quran. 87 Do not strain your eyes after what We have given certain classes of them to enjoy, and do not grieve for them, and make yourself gentle to the believers. 88 And say: 'I am the plain warner' 89 (Of a punishment) Like the one We sent down upon the dividers. 90 and also divided the Quran believing in some parts and rejecting others. 91 So, by your Lord (O Muhammad SAW), We shall certainly call all of them to account. 92 For all that they used to do. 93 Therefore expound openly what thou art commanded, and turn away from those who join false gods with Allah. 94 Indeed We suffice you against these mockers. 95 those who set up another deity alongside Allah. They shall soon come to know. 96 We do indeed know how your heart is distressed at what they say. 97 But celebrate the praises of thy Lord, and be of those who prostrate themselves in adoration. 98 And worship thy Lord until there cometh unto thee the certainty. 99
