And the dwellers of the Rock certainly rejected the apostles; 80 We gave them Our signs, but they turned away from them. 81 And they hewed houses in the mountains in security. 82 An explosion struck them in the morning. 83 that they earned did not avail them. 84 We have created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, for a genuine purpose. The Day of Judgment will certainly approach, so (Muhammad) forgive them graciously. 85 Your Lord is the Creator, the Knower. 86 We have given thee seven of the oft-repeated (verses) and the great Qur'an. 87 Do not even cast your eyes towards the worldly goods We have granted to different kinds of people, nor grieve over the state they are in, but turn your loving attention to the believers instead, 88 And say thou: verily I! I am a plain warner. 89 So We sent it down to the partitioners, 90 And severed their Scripture into fragments. 91 Them, by thy Lord, We shall question, every one, 92 about whatever they had been doing! 93 Therefore proclaim openly (Allah's Message Islamic Monotheism) that which you are commanded, and turn away from Al-Mushrikun (polytheists, idolaters, and disbelievers, etc. - see V. 2:105). 94 Truly! We will suffice you against the scoffers. 95 Who place other gods besides God. They will come to know soon. 96 We are well aware that you are disheartened by what they say. 97 Glorify and praise your Lord and be with those who prostrate themselves before God. 98 and worship thy Sustainer till death comes to thee. 99
