To God belongs the Unseen in the heavens and in the earth. And the matter of the Hour is as a twinkling of the eye, or nearer. Surely God is powerful over everything. 77 And God has brought you forth from your mothers' wombs knowing nothing - but He has endowed you with hearing, and sight, and minds, so that you might have cause to be grateful. 78 Have they not seen the birds, subservient in the open skies? No one holds them up except Allah; indeed in this are signs for the people who believe. 79 God has made your house the place for you to rest. He has also made homes for you out of the skins of cattle which are easy to carry along on a journey or at a camp. He has made wool, fur and the hair of cattle a temporary means of enjoyment for you. 80 God has granted you shade out of what He has created, places of shelter in the mountains, garments with which to protect yourselves from the heat and coats of mail to shield you in battle. Thus He completes His favour to you, so that you may submit wholly to Him. 81 Then, if they turn away, your duty (O Muhammad SAW) is only to convey (the Message) in a clear way. 82 They recognize the blessing of God, then they deny it, and the most of them are the unthankful. 83
