Surely Ibrahim was an exemplar, obedient to Allah, upright, and he was not of the polytheists. 120 He showed his gratitude for the favours of Allah, who chose him, and guided him to a Straight Way. 121 We granted him virtue in this life and he shall be among the righteous ones in the life to come. 122 So We have taught thee the inspired (Message), "Follow the ways of Abraham the True in Faith, and he joined not gods with Allah." 123 The Sabbath was ordained only for those who differed about it, and most surely your Lord will judge between them on the resurrection day concerning that about which they differed. 124 Invite to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good instruction, and argue with them in a way that is best. Indeed, your Lord is most knowing of who has strayed from His way, and He is most knowing of who is [rightly] guided. 125 And if ye do catch them out, catch them out no worse than they catch you out: But if ye show patience, that is indeed the best (course) for those who are patient. 126 Endure with patience; truly, your patience is possible only with the help of God. Do not grieve for them, or feel distressed because of their plottings, 127 Surely Allah is with those who guard (against evil) and those who do good (to others). 128
