Indeed Ibrahim was a leader, obedient to Allah, and detached from all; and he was not a polytheist. 120 (He was) thankful for His (Allah's) Graces. He (Allah) chose him (as an intimate friend) and guided him to a Straight Path (Islamic Monotheism, neither Judaism nor Christianity). 121 And We gave him good in this world, and in the Hereafter he shall be of the righteous. 122 Then, We revealed to you: 'Follow the Creed of Abraham, he of pure faith, he was not among the idolaters' 123 The Sabbath was ordained only for those who differed about it. On the Day of Resurrection, your Lord will decide the differences that were between them. 124 Call them to the path of your Lord with wisdom and words of good advice; and reason with them in the best way possible. Your Lord surely knows who strays from His path, and He knows those who are guided the right way. 125 And if you punish [an enemy, O believers], punish with an equivalent of that with which you were harmed. But if you are patient - it is better for those who are patient. 126 Endure with patience, for your endurance is not without the help of God. Do not grieve for them, and do not be distressed by their plots. 127 Indeed Allah is with the pious and the virtuous. 128
