AND LO! [In the course of his wanderings,] Moses said to his servant: "I shall not give up until I reach the junction of the two seas, even if I [have to] spend untold years [in my quest]!" 60 But when they reached the junction between them, they forgot their fish, and it took its course into the sea, slipping away. 61 So when they had passed beyond it, [Moses] said to his boy, "Bring us our morning meal. We have certainly suffered in this, our journey, [much] fatigue." 62 He said: Didst thou see, when we took refuge on the rock, and I forgot the fish - and none but Satan caused me to forget to mention it - it took its way into the waters by a marvel. 63 He said: This is that which we have been seeking. So they retraced their steps again. 64 Then the twain found a bondman from Our bondmen, him We had vouchsafed a mercy from before Us, and him We had taught from Our presence a knowledge. 65 Moses said to him: "May I follow thee, on the footing that thou teach me something of the (Higher) Truth which thou hast been taught?" 66 He replied, "You will not be able to have patience with me. 67 'For how can you bear patiently with that which you have never encompassed in your knowledge' 68 Musa (Moses) said: "If Allah will, you will find me patient, and I will not disobey you in aught." 69 He said, “Therefore if you stay with me, do not ask me about anything until I myself mention it to you.” 70
