And recite in the Book the account of Moses. He was a chosen one, a Messenger, a Prophet. 51 And We cried unto him from the right side of the mount, and We drew him nigh for whispering. 52 Out of Our mercy We gave him his brother Aaron who himself was a Prophet. 53 Mention in the Book (the Quran) the story of Ishmael; he was true to his promise, a Messengers and a Prophet. 54 He used to enjoin on his people Prayer and Charity, and he was most acceptable in the sight of his Lord. 55 Also mention in the Book the case of Idris: He was a man of truth (and sincerity), (and) a prophet: 56 And We raised him to a high station. 57 Those were some of the prophets on whom Allah did bestow His Grace,- of the posterity of Adam, and of those who We carried (in the Ark) with Noah, and of the posterity of Abraham and Israel of those whom We guided and chose. Whenever the Signs of (Allah) Most Gracious were rehearsed to them, they would fall down in prostrate adoration and in tears. ۩ 58 ۞ But they are succeeded by a generation who neglect their devotional obligations and follow only earthly pleasures; but they will reach the wrong road and meet destruction, 59 Except those who repent and believe, and work righteousness: for these will enter the Garden and will not be wronged in the least,- 60 [theirs will be the] gardens of perpetual bliss which the Most Gracious has promised unto His servants, in a realm which is beyond the reach of human perception: [and,] verily, His promise is ever sure of fulfilment! 61 They will not hear any lewd talk in it, but only Peace; and in it for them is sustenance, every morning and evening. 62 This is the garden which We cause those of Our servants to inherit who guard (against evil). 63 And we descend not except by the command of thy Lord: His is whatsoever is before us and whatsoever is behind us and whatsoever is in-between; and thy Lord is not a forgetter 64 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, so worship Him, be patient in His worship.
