Man is prone to say: "Shall I be raised to life after I die?" 66 Does man not remember that We created him before, while he was nothing? 67 By your Lord, We will surely muster them and the devils together. Then We will surely bring them all, on their knees, around Hell, 68 Then We will separate from every group those who were strongly rebellious against the Beneficent God. 69 Then surely it is We who are the Best Knower of these worthiest of being therein roasted. 70 It is the inevitable decree of your Lord that every one of you will be taken to hell. 71 Then We shall rescue those who kept from evil, and leave the evil-doers crouching there. 72 And when Our manifest revelations are rehearsed unto them, those who disbelieve say unto those who believe: which of the two portions is better in station and goodlier in company? 73 How many a generation have We destroyed before them, who were more imposing in respect of gear and outward seeming! 74 Say: 'Whosoever is in error, let the Most Merciful prolong his life span until they see that which they were threatened, be it a punishment, or the Hour. Then shall they know whose is the worst place and who is weaker in hosts' 75 God increases His guidance to those who follow guidance; and lasting good works are better in the sight of your Lord and are most rewarding. 76 Note the words of the disbeliever, "I shall certainly be given wealth and children?" 77 Has he gained knowledge of the Unseen? Or taken a covenant with the Merciful? 78 By no means! We write down what he says, and We will lengthen to him the length of the chastisement 79 And We shall inherit from him that whereof he spake, and he will come unto Us, alone (without his wealth and children). 80 And they have taken gods besides Allah, that they should be to them a source of strength; 81 By no means! They shall soon deny their worship and shall become their adversaries instead. 82
