Do you not see that We have set the devils against the infidels to rouse and instigate them? 83 So make no haste against them, for We but count out to them a (limited) number (of days). 84 On the day when We shall gather the righteous unto the Beneficent, a goodly company. 85 And drive the wicked into Hell like cattle driven to water, 86 They shall not own intercession, excepting those who have taken of the Compassionate a covenant. 87 As it is, some assert, "The Most Gracious has taken unto Himself a son 88 Assuredly ye utter a disastrous thing 89 Whereby almost the heavens are torn, and the earth is split asunder and the mountains fall in ruins, 90 That they ascribe a son (or offspring or children) to the Most Beneficent (Allah). 91 When it is not meet for (the Majesty of) the Beneficent that He should choose a son. 92 there is none in the heavens or on the earth but shall return to the Merciful in utter submission, 93 He has indeed counted them, and He has numbered them exactly. 94 Every one of them will come before Him all alone on the Day of Resurrection. 95 Indeed, the Most Compassionate Lord will soon create enduring love for those who believe and do righteous works. 96 and only to this end have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own tongue, [O Prophet,] so that thou might convey thereby a glad tiding to the God-conscious, and warn thereby those who are given to [futile] contention: 97 And how many have We destroyed before them of generations? Do you perceive of them anyone or hear from them a sound? 98
