Seest thou not that We have set the devils on the disbelievers to confound them with confusion? 83 So do not be impatient for them (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him); We are only completing their number.* (* The number of days left for them or their evil deeds.) 84 The day on which We will gather those who guard (against evil) to the Beneficent Allah to receive honors 85 and drive the evildoers into Gehenna herding, 86 No one will have power to intercede, except for those who have permission from the Lord of Mercy. 87 They claim: "The Most Compassionate Lord has taken a son to Himself." 88 Assuredly, you have uttered a monstrous falsehood: 89 whereat the heavens might well-nigh be rent into fragments, and the earth be split asunder, and the mountains fall down in ruins! 90 because they have ascribed a son to the Merciful. 91 The Beneficent God is too Exalted to have a son. 92 Not one of all [the beings] that are in the heavens or on earth appears before the Most Gracious other than as a servant: 93 He has indeed counted them, and He has numbered them exactly. 94 And each one of them will come before Him on the Day of Resurrection, alone. 95 VERILY, those who attain to faith and do righteous deeds will the Most Gracious endow with love: 96 We have made it easy in your own tongue in order that you proclaim the glad tidings to the cautious and give warning to a stubborn nation. 97 And how many a generation have We destroyed before them! Perceivest thou of them anyone or hear of them a whisper? 98
