ART THOU NOT aware that We have let loose all [manner of] satanic forces upon those who deny the truth - [forces] that impel them [towards sin] with strong impulsion? 83 So, do not be hasty with them. We are counting their number (of days). 84 On the day that We shall muster the godfearing to the All-merciful with pomp 85 and drive the evildoers as herds, into Gehenna 86 None will have [power of] intercession except he who had taken from the Most Merciful a covenant. 87 And they say: "The Most Beneficent (Allah) has begotten a son (or offspring or children) [as the Jews say: 'Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allah, and the Christians say that He has begotten a son ['Iesa (Christ)], and the pagan Arabs say that He has begotten daughters (angels, etc.)]." 88 You have done an atrocious thing. 89 Thereby the heavens are nearly torn and the earth split asunder, and mountains fall crashing down 90 that they have attributed to the All-merciful a son; 91 For it is not consonant with the majesty of (Allah) Most Gracious that He should beget a son. 92 There is none in the heavens and the earth but cometh unto the Beneficent as a slave. 93 indeed, He has full cognizance of them, and has numbered them with [unfailing] numbering; 94 Every one of them will come before Him all alone on the Day of Resurrection. 95 Indeed, the Most Compassionate Lord will soon create enduring love for those who believe and do righteous works. 96 So We have made this (Qur'an) easy in your tongue that you may give good news to those who take heed, and warn the people who are contentious. 97 How many generations have We destroyed before them! Do you sense even one of them, or hear a whisper from them? 98
