Seest thou not that We have set the Evil Ones on against the unbelievers, to incite them with fury? 83 Therefore, do not hasten (things) against them, for We count out to them a number, 84 The Day will surely come when We shall gather the God-fearing like [honoured] guests before the Compassionate God 85 and drive the evildoers as herds, into Gehenna 86 who have no power of intercession, except those who have taken a covenant with the Merciful. 87 And they say: 'The Merciful has taken a son' 88 Assuredly, you have uttered a monstrous falsehood: 89 The heavens are wellnigh rent of it and the earth split asunder, and the mountains wellnigh fall down crashing for 90 because they have ascribed a son to the Merciful. 91 When it does not behove the Merciful to have a son. 92 there is none in the heavens or on the earth but shall return to the Merciful in utter submission, 93 Verily He knoweth them and numbereth them with (right) numbering. 94 Every one of them shall come to Him upon the Day of Resurrection, all alone. 95 On those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, will (Allah) Most Gracious bestow love. 96 So, [O Muhammad], We have only made Qur'an easy in the Arabic language that you may give good tidings thereby to the righteous and warn thereby a hostile people. 97 And how many a generation have We destroyed before them! Perceivest thou of them anyone or hear of them a whisper? 98
