Moses said: "O my Lord, enlarge my breast, 25 And make my affair easy to me, 26 Remove the defect of my tongue 27 That they may understand my saying. 28 and appoint for me a helper from among my family, 29 Aaron, my brother. 30 Add Thou through him to my strength, 31 And associate him (with me) in my affair, 32 so that we exalt You 33 "And remember You much, 34 You are surely watching over us. 35 He said: "Moses, your petition is granted. 36 "And indeed We conferred a favour on thee another time (before). 37 when We revealed what was revealed unto thy mother: 38 'Put the baby into a chest and then throw him in the river. The river will throw him up on the shore, and then an enemy of Mine and an enemy of his will take him.' And I spread My love over you in order that you might be reared in My sight. 39 [And We favored you] when your sister went and said, 'Shall I direct you to someone who will be responsible for him?' So We restored you to your mother that she might be content and not grieve. And you killed someone, but We saved you from retaliation and tried you with a [severe] trial. And you remained [some] years among the people of Madyan. Then you came [here] at the decreed time, O Moses. 40 "And I have prepared thee for Myself (for service)".. 41 Go, you and your brother, with My signs, and do not be remiss in remembering Me. 42 Go both to Firon, surely he has become inordinate; 43 Then say to him a gentle saying; haply he may be admonished or he may fear. 44 The two [brothers] said: "O our Sustainer! Verily, we fear lest he act hastily with regard to us, or lest he [continue to] transgress all bounds of equity." 45 He said; fear not; verily I shall be with you twain: I shall hear and see. 46 Go to him and say, 'We are both messengers from your Lord. Let the Children of Israel go with us, and do not oppress them. We have brought you a Sign from your Lord, and may peace be upon whoever follows the right guidance; 47 "'Verily it has been revealed to us that the Penalty (awaits) those who reject and turn away.'" 48 [But when God's message was conveyed unto Pharaoh,] he said: "Who, now, is this Sustainer of you two, O Moses?" 49 He said, “Our Lord is One Who gave everything its proper shape, then showed the path.” 50 He (Pharaoh) asked: 'How was it then, with the former generations' 51 (Moses) replied: "Knowledge of that is with my Lord (recorded) in the Book. My Lord neither errs nor forgets." 52 "He Who has, made for you the earth like a carpet spread out; has enabled you to go about therein by roads (and channels); and has sent down water from the sky." With it have We produced diverse pairs of plants each separate from the others. 53 Eat, [then, of this produce of the soil,] and pasture your cattle [thereon]. In all this, behold, there are messages indeed for those who are endowed with reason: 54
