Have the unbelievers not seen that the heavens and the earth were sewn up as one (solid) mass, then We unstitched them, and that We made every living thing of water? Will they not believe! 30 And We placed within the earth firmly set mountains, lest it should shift with them, and We made therein [mountain] passes [as] roads that they might be guided. 31 and [that] We have set up the sky as a canopy well-secured? And yet, they stubbornly turn away from [all] the signs of this [creation,] 32 It is He who created night and day, the sun and the moon, revolving on its orbit. 33 And We granted not to any human being immortality before you (O Muhammad SAW), then if you die, would they live forever? 34 Every soul shall taste death; We test you with both good and evil [circumstances] as a trial. To Us you shall return. 35 When the unbelievers see you they make you an object of fun, saying: "Is he the one who mentions your gods?" They say so, and yet they reject with disdain the very mention of the Most Compassionate Lord. 36 The human was created of haste. Indeed, I will show you My signs; so do not ask Me to hasten them. 37 And they say: "When will this promise (come to pass), if you are truthful." 38 If only the disbelievers realised the time when they will not be able to stop the fire from their faces and from their backs – and nor are they to be helped. 39 In fact it will suddenly come upon them, therefore shocking them, and they will not be able to repel it nor will they be given respite. 40 And already were messengers ridiculed before you, but those who mocked them were enveloped by what they used to ridicule. 41
