[O MEN! Pay heed to God's messages,] for it is He who has endowed you with hearing, and sight, and minds: [yet] how seldom are you grateful! 78 And it is He Who has spread you in the earth, and towards Him you are to be raised. 79 It is He who gives life and causes death and it is He who alternates night and day. Will you not then understand? 80 On the contrary, they said the same as what the former people used to say. 81 They say: when we are dead, and have become dust and bones, shall we verily be raised up? 82 We and our fathers have been promised this before. It is but of the ancients' fictitious tales' 83 Say: 'Whose is the earth, and whoso is in it, if you have knowledge?' 84 They will quickly reply, "It belongs to God." Say, "Will you not, then, take heed?" 85 Say, “Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and the Lord of the Tremendous Throne?” 86 They will say, "They belong to God." Say, "So do you not fear Him?" 87 Ask them: "Say, if you indeed know, to whom belongs the dominion over all things; (Who is it) that grants asylum, but against Whom no asylum is available?" 88 They will say, "[All belongs] to Allah." Say, "Then how are you deluded?" 89 We have revealed to them the truth. But they are certainly liars. 90 Allah has not taken any son, nor has there ever been with Him any deity. [If there had been], then each deity would have taken what it created, and some of them would have sought to overcome others. Exalted is Allah above what they describe [concerning Him]. 91 All-Knower of the unseen and the seen! Exalted be He over all that they associate as partners to Him! 92
