Al-Mu' minoon 5 of 6
It is He Who has endowed you with the faculties of hearing and sight and has given you hearts (to think). Scarcely do you give thanks. 78 And He it is Who multiplied you in the earth, and to Him you shall be gathered. 79 And He it is who grants life and deals death; and to Him is due the alternation of night and day. Will you not, then, use your reason? 80 They say exactly the same thing as the people who lived before. 81 'When we are dead and become dust and bones shall we be resurrected? 82 “Indeed this promise was given to us and before us to our forefathers – this is nothing but stories of earlier people.” 83 Say: 'Whose is the earth, and whoso is in it, if you have knowledge?' 84 They will say: Unto Allah. Say: Will ye not then remember? 85 Say: 'Who is the Lord of the seven heavens and the Lord of the mighty Throne?' 86 Thereupon they will say, “Such greatness is only that of Allah”; say, “So why do you not fear?” 87 Say: 'In whose hand is the dominion of everything, protecting and Himself unprotected, if you have knowledge?' 88 They will surely say: God's. Say thou: how then are ye turned away? 89 We have revealed to them the truth. But they are certainly liars. 90 Allah has not taken any son, nor has there ever been with Him any deity. [If there had been], then each deity would have taken what it created, and some of them would have sought to overcome others. Exalted is Allah above what they describe [concerning Him]. 91 The knower of the absent and the present, too exalted is He for what they associate (with Him)! 92

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
