Say: "O Lord, if I am made to see what has been promised them, 93 My Lord, then do not place me among the wrongdoing people." 94 We certainly have the power to show you what they have been warned about. 95 Repel evil with that which is better. We know that which they describe. 96 and say, "My Lord, I seek refuge with You from the prompting of the devils. 97 And I seek refuge in Thee! O my Lord! from their presence. 98 Until, when death comes to one* of them, he says, “O my Lord, send me back!” (The disbelievers) 99 that I should do righteousness in that I forsook' No! It is only a word which he will speak. Behind them there shall stand a barrier till the Day that they shall be resurrected. 100 Then, when the trumpet [of resurrection] is blown, no ties of kinship will on that Day prevail among them, and neither will they ask about one another. 101 If the side of ones good deeds weighs heavier on a scale, he will have everlasting happiness, 102 and he whose scales are light -- they have lost their souls in Gehenna dwelling forever, 103 The Fire will scorch their faces, and therein they shall be grinning. 104 "Were not My Verses (this Quran) recited to you, and then you used to deny them?" 105 They shall say: O our Lord! our adversity overcame us and we were an erring people: 106 O our Sustainer! Cause us to come out of this [suffering] - and then, if ever We revert [to sinning,] may we truly be [deemed] evildoers!" 107 Allah will say, “Remain rebuked in it, and do not speak to Me.” 108 Verily! There was a party of My slaves, who used to say: "Our Lord! We believe, so forgive us, and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of all who show mercy!" 109 you made a laughingstock of them and your hostility to them caused you to forget Me, and you simply kept laughing. 110 Indeed, I have rewarded them this Day for their patient endurance - that they are the attainers [of success]." 111 He will say: how long tarried ye on the earth in number of year? 112 They will answer: "We have spent there a day, or part of a day; but ask those who [are able to] count [time]" 113 God will say, "You have indeed remained there for a short time. Would that you knew it during your life time. 114 Did you think that We had created you only for play, and that you would never be returned to Us' 115 So Exalted be Allah, the True King, La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), the Lord of the Supreme Throne! 116 And whoever invokes besides Allah another deity for which he has no proof - then his account is only with his Lord. Indeed, the disbelievers will not succeed. 117 Say: "My Lord, forgive and have mercy. You are the best of the merciful." 118
