Say thou; my Lord! if Thou wilt shew me that wherewith they are threatened. 93 exclude me from the unjust people". 94 We have the Power to strike them with torment before your very eyes. 95 Repel evil with what is best, We are well aware of the things they say, 96 And say: 'O my Lord, I seek refuge in You from evil suggestions of the satans. 97 "And I seek refuge with You, My Lord! lest they may attend (or come near) me." 98 Till, when death comes to one of them, he says, 'My Lord, return me; 99 That I may do right in that which I have left behind! But nay! It is but a word that he speaketh; and behind them is a barrier until the day when they are raised. 100 So when the Trumpet is blown so there will neither be any relationship among them* that day, nor will they ask about one another. (The disbelievers) 101 Then he whose balances shall be heavy - these! they are the blissful ones. 102 But those whose scales are light - those are the ones who have lost their souls, [being] in Hell, abiding eternally. 103 The fire shall scorch their faces, and they will remain dejected in it. 104 [It will be said]. "Were not My verses recited to you and you used to deny them?" 105 They will say: "Our Lord! Our misfortune prevailed over us. We were indeed an erring people. 106 O our Sustainer! Cause us to come out of this [suffering] - and then, if ever We revert [to sinning,] may we truly be [deemed] evildoers!" 107 [But] He will say: "Away with you into this [ignominy]! And speak no more unto Me! 108 There is a party of My servants who said, "Our Lord, we believe; therefore forgive us, and have mercy on us, for Thou art the best of the merciful." 109 But you took them for a laughingstock, so much so that they made you forget My Remembrance while you used to laugh at them! 110 Verily I have recompensed them today, for they bore patiently, verily they are the achievers. 111 And He will ask: 'How many years did you live on earth' 112 They will reply: 'A day, or part of a day; ask those who have kept count' 113 God will say, "You have indeed remained there for a short time. Would that you knew it during your life time. 114 "Did ye then think that We had created you in jest, and that ye would not be brought back to Us (for account)?" 115 Then high exalted be God, the King, the True! There is no god but He? the Lord of the noble Throne. 116 And whoever invokes besides Allah another deity for which he has no proof - then his account is only with his Lord. Indeed, the disbelievers will not succeed. 117 Say: "My Lord, forgive and have mercy. You are the best of the merciful." 118
God the Almighty always says the truth.
