Blessed is He who could give you palaces and gardens wherein streams would flow, far better than what they want you to have. 10 They deny the Hour. For those who deny that Hour, We have prepared a blazing fire. 11 When it will see them from afar, they will hear the sounds of its raging and roaring. 12 When they are thrown, bound, into a narrow place therein, then only will they wish for their death. 13 'Do not call out today for one destruction; call out for many destructions' 14 Say: Is that (doom) better or the Garden of Immortality which is promised unto those who ward off (evil)? It will be their reward and journey's end. 15 Therein they shall have what they will dwelling forever; it is a promise binding upon thy Lord, and of Him to be required. 16 And [mention] the Day He will gather them and that which they worship besides Allah and will say, "Did you mislead these, My servants, or did they [themselves] stray from the way?" 17 They will say; hallowed be Thou! it behoved us not that we should take beside Thee any patron, but Thou allowedest them and their fathers enjoyment until they forgat the admonition, and they were a people doomed. 18 So now they belie you in that which ye said; so ye are not able to obtain diversion nor help. And whosoever of you doth wrong, him We shall make taste a great torment. 19 We never sent any messengers before you who did not eat food and walk in the market-place. We make some of you a means of trial for others, to see whether you are steadfast. Your Lord is all seeing. 20
