The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the verses of the Clear Book. 2 Perhaps, [O Muhammad], you would kill yourself with grief that they will not be believers. 3 If We will, We can send down a Sign to them from heaven, so their necks will be humbled to it. 4 A fresh remembrance has never come to them from the Merciful, except they turn away from it. 5 So they have indeed rejected (the truth), therefore the news of that which they mock shall soon come to them. 6 Have they not seen the earth, how many We caused to grow in it every generous kind? 7 Surely, in this there is a sign yet most of them do not believe. 8 And verily, thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 9
