HALLOWED is He who has set up in the skies great constellations, and has placed among them a [radiant] lamp and a light-giving moon. 61 And it is He who made the night and day a succession for whom He desires to remember or He desires to be thankful. 62 The (faithful) slaves of the Beneficent are they who walk upon the earth modestly, and when the foolish ones address them answer: Peace; 63 who pass the night prostrating and standing to their Lord. 64 And those who say: "Our Lord! Avert from us the torment of Hell. Verily! Its torment is ever an inseparable, permanent punishment." 65 verily, how evil an abode and a station!"; 66 who, when they spend, are neither extravagant nor miserly but keep the golden mean between the two (extremes): 67 And those who call not unto other god along with Allah and slay not any soul which Allah hath forbidden, save in justification, and commit not fornication. And whosoever shall do this, shall incur the meed. 68 Multiplied for him is the punishment on the Day of Resurrection, and he will abide therein humiliated - 69 Except those who repent and come to believe and do the right, for whom God will turn evil into goodness, for God is forgiving and kind. 70 and seeing that he who repents and [thenceforth] does what is right has truly turned unto God by [this very act of] repentance. 71 And those who will not witness vanity, but when they pass near senseless play, pass by with dignity. 72 who do not turn a blind eye and a deaf ear to the signs of their Lord when they are reminded of them; 73 who say, "Lord, grant us joy in our wives and children and make us a model for the righteous." 74 Those shall be recompensed with the highest rank for their patience. There they shall receive a greeting, and peace! 75 Abiders therein: excellent it is as an abode and as a station. 76 Say (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) “You have no value before My Lord if you do not worship Him; so you have denied – therefore the punishment that remains, will occur.” 77
