The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the verses of the Clear Book. 2 Belike thou shalt kill thyself with grief because they become not believers. 3 We could send down from the heavens a sign to them if We pleased, before which their heads would remain bowed. 4 And there does not come to them a new reminder from the Beneficent Allah but they turn aside from it. 5 Indeed they have denied, so now soon coming upon them are the tidings of what they used to scoff at. 6 Do they not see the earth, and what beneficial kinds of things We have caused to grow in it? 7 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them will not accept faith. 8 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 9
