The Poets (Alshu'araa')
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta-Sin-Mim. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings.] 1 These are the verses of the Clear Book. 2 Wouldst thou, perhaps, torment thyself to death [with grief] because they [who live around thee] refuse to believe [in it]? 3 If We will, We can send down on them a sign from the sky so that their leaders would remain bowed before it. 4 And no revelation comes to them anew from the Most Merciful except that they turn away from it. 5 They have indeed rejected (the Message): so they will know soon (enough) the truth of what they mocked at! 6 What, have they not regarded the earth, how many therein We have caused to grow of every generous kind? 7 In this, behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 8 And indeed your Lord – indeed only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 9
