۞ Nay, I swear by the places of the stars - 75 and, indeed, that is a most mighty oath, if you only knew -- 76 This is indeed the noble Qur’an. 77 (Inscribed) in the well-kept Book. 78 Which none can touch except the purified. 79 Sent down by the Lord Of The Creation. 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 and your portion in it is simply that you denounce it as false? 82 Why, then, when the soul of the dying man reaches the throat, 83 the while you are helplessly watching that he is on the verge of death, 84 at that moment when We are closer to him than you, although you do not see (Us) 85 Then why is it not-- if you are not held under authority-- 86 do you not bring back his soul, if you speak truly? 87 But if he [the dying person] is one of those brought near to God, 88 (There is for him) Rest and Satisfaction, and a Garden of Delights. 89 And if he was of the companions of the right, 90 Then: peace unto thee, for thou art of those on the right hand. 91 But if he (the dying person) be of the denying (of the Resurrection), the erring (away from the Right Path of Islamic Monotheism), 92 Then for him is entertainment with boiling water. 93 And the roasting in Hell. 94 Surely this is the truth of certainty. 95 So glorify with praises the Name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah). Sent down in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
