The Poets (Alshu'araa')

227 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah) before The Ant (Al-Naml)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the verses of the Book that makes (things) clear. 2 Wouldst thou, perhaps, torment thyself to death [with grief] because they [who live around thee] refuse to believe [in it]? 3 We could send down from the heavens a sign to them if We pleased, before which their heads would remain bowed. 4 And there does not come to them a new reminder from the Beneficent Allah but they turn aside from it. 5 So they have cried lies; therefore assuredly tidings will come to them of that they mocked at. 6 Did they not look at the earth - how much We have produced therein from every noble kind? 7 In this there is, certainly, evidence (of the Truth). But most of them have no faith. 8 But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace! 9
