When Your Lord told Moses to go to the unjust people of the Pharaoh 10 The folk of Pharaoh. Will they not ward off (evil)? 11 He said: "My Lord! I fear that they will brand me a liar. 12 and "my breast is straitened and my tongue is not fluent; so send Aaron as well; 13 “And they have an accusation against me, so I fear that they may kill me.” 14 He said: by no means. So go ye twain with Our signs; verily We shall be with you listening. 15 "And when you both come to Fir'aun (Pharaoh), say: 'We are the Messengers of the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists), 16 that you let the Children of Israel go with us.'" 17 Fir'awn said: brought we not thee up amongst us as a child? And thou tarriedst amongst us for many years of thy life? 18 And thou didst the deed thou didst, being one of the ungrateful!' 19 Moses said, "I did do it and I made a mistake. 20 I fled from you because I feared you. But my Lord has given me judgment and made me one of the Messengers. 21 And this is the past favour wherewith thou reproachest me: that thou hast enslaved the Children of Israel. 22 Said Pharaoh, "And what is the Lord of the worlds?" 23 [Moses] said, "The Lord of the heavens and earth and that between them, if you should be convinced." 24 (The Pharaoh) said to those around him: "Do you hear?" 25 [And Moses] continued: "[He is] your Sustainer, [too,] as well as the Sustainer of your forefathers of old!" 26 [Pharaoh] said, "Indeed, your 'messenger' who has been sent to you is mad." 27 He said: Lord of the East and the West and all that is between them, if ye did but understand. 28 Pharaoh said, "If you put forward any god other than me, I will surely put you in prison". 29 Moses asked, "What if I were to bring you clear proof (of the existence of God)?" 30 Said he: Bring it then, if you are of the truthful ones. 31 So he cast down his rod, and lo! it was an obvious serpent, 32 and he drew forth his hand - and lo! it appeared [shining] white to the beholders. 33
