Fir'awn said unto the chiefs around him: verily this is a magician knowing. 34 He wants to drive you out of your land by his magic. So, what do you bid?" 35 They said, “Stop him and his brother, and send gatherers to the cities.” 36 who shall bring to you every skilful sorcerer." 37 So the magicians were gathered together at the appointed time on the fixed day, 38 And it was said to the people, "Will you congregate 39 We may perhaps follow the religion of the magicians if they triumph." 40 "When the magicians came, they asked the Pharaoh, "Will there be any reward for us if we win?" 41 He said: "Yes, and you shall then verily be of those brought near (to myself)." 42 Moosa said to them, “Cast whatever you intend to cast.” 43 So they threw their ropes and their rods, and said: "By the might of Pharaoh, it is we who will certainly win!" 44 Then Moses threw his rod, when, behold, it straightway swallows up all the falsehoods which they fake! 45 The magicians fell down in adoration 46 saying, "We believe in the Lord of the Worlds, 47 the Lord of Moses and Aaron." 48 (Pharaoh) said: Ye put your faith in him before I give you leave. Lo! he doubtless is your chief who taught you magic! But verily ye shall come to know. Verily I will cut off your hands and your feet alternately, and verily I will crucify you every one. 49 'There is no harm' they replied, 'for surely to our Lord we are turning. 50 “We hope that our Lord will forgive us our mistakes, as we are the first to believe.” 51

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
